Nicki Minaj Snaps On Mariah Carey At “Idol Auditions”, Seacrest Explains

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey participated in an intense war of words last night at the American Idol audition in Charlotte, NC. According to TMZ and other sources, the ladies began arguing over one of the contestants.

However, Mariah reportedly called Minaj a “b*tch” and the rapper threatened her saying, “I’m gonna knock you out”. Nicki went on to say, “I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there.”

NY Daily reports Host Ryan Seacrest loved it and says the cat fight is good for the show, which leads us to believe this might’ve been a publicity stunt.

“It got heated between Nicki and Mariah,” admitted Seacrest, who was outside the auditorium during the dust-up. “It was intense! I’ll be honest with you . .. It went far last night. It did get intense.”

“These are all very different individuals with different perspectives and different opinions that provide for interesting conversation and dialogue and feedback for the contestants,” he added of Minaj, Carey, fellow newbie Keith Urban and longtime judge, Randy Jackson.”
